Social Events at ECASIA 2015

Welcome Reception

Before the scientific activity of the conference start, a drink will be offered to the ECASIA delegates Sunday, September 27th, at Exhibition Area (Hall) of the Granada Congress Center between 7:00 and 9:00 pm

· Price: Free of charge for ECASIA delegates;

Total Lunar Eclipse Soirée

The night before ECASIA-2015 starts, after the welcome reception, it will take place a Total Lunar Eclipse. If we are lucky with the weather, we will have the opportunity see that event between 0.11 am (September 28th) when the Penumbral Eclipse begins and 2.47 am when Maximum Eclipse take place. For those interested we will organize a "Total Lunar Eclipse Soirée" at a terrace of a Hotel Carmen nearby the Congress Centre, where a sandwich and a drink will be offered. A couple of telescopes will be available to get all the details of the Eclipse event.

Visit to the Alhambra Palace

Guided visit to the Alhambra Palace will be offered Wednesday September 30th.

19:00 Departure from Granada Congress Center
19:20 Arrival to the Alhambra and visit Carlos V Palace and surroundings
20:00 Nazaries Palaces visit
21:30 Departure to the Gala Dinner

· Price: Free of charge for ECASIA delegates. If you plan to join us with this activity, in order to book your ticket, you have to mention (tick) it in the registration form

Gala Dinner

After the Guided visit to the Alhambra Palace (schedule at 9.30 pm), a Gala Dinner at La Mamunia rresort will be offered.
