Proceedings of the European Conference on Surface Science 2015 will be published by ELSEVIER B.V. as a special issue of the journal Applied Surface Science. The contents of the special issue will consist of invited papers plus a selection of contributed papers, for a total of 20 approximately. The reviewing procedure, format, letter type and lay out of the manuscripts will be the same as for the regular issues of the Journal. Submission of a paper implies that it represents original work not previously published and not being considered for publication elsewhere. All previously published material shall be fully acknowledged in the manuscript. There will be no page charges.
On-line submission via Elsevier’s Editorial System (EES) at http://www.ees.elsevier.com/apsusc/ is required. Submission will be announced during the Conference and first manuscripts would be uploaded in the EES by the authors no earlier than September 1, 2015. The deadline for all manuscripts to be submitted to EES is November 30, 2015. The Publisher undertakes to publish the special issue within three months after receipt of the complete and final manuscripts by the Publisher, and no later than June 2016. We encourage participants of ECOSS31 to submit their original contributions.
