Dear colleagues and friends,

Neuro-oncology is an area of special interest and very active, that has experienced a tremendous growth over the past decade through its activity of clinical and basic research. During these years, we have witnessed many proposals and concerns generated among the different specialists involved in neuro-oncology. This widespread interest has led us, a group of professionals, to propose a multidisciplinary meeting on neuro-oncology that can include basic investigators, neurologists, neuro-radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists and neuro-pathologists.

As you know, now there are many groups working in this field and in view of the existing dispersion, it is very difficult to attend all the meetings organized, and more so during this period of crisis. We thought it could be interesting to get all the groups involved in Neurooncologia October 10th -11th 2013 at a national meeting in which all of us who are interested in neuro-oncology share our present and future projects and concerns.

We hope this meeting will be particularly rewarding and a real boost in the development of Spanish neuro-oncology that we can repeat in years to come.

We look forward to seeing you in Pamplona next year.
