This is an exclusive section for different Latin American residences and postgraduate schools of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to submit cases and abstracts and discuss these (The submission of abstracts based on the main topics of the Reconstructive Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthognathic surgery).

The abstracts must be sent before 10 september 2016.
All of the abstracts which are submitted by this deadline will be reviewed by the scientific committee anonymously.
Abstract guidelines:
• The main topic will be maxillofacial reconstructive surgery and Orthognathic Surgery. If the topic does not meet this requirement, then it will be automatically rejected.
• The abstracts must be original and they shouldn´t be or have been presented in previous symposiums/congresses. They must be related to the main topic of the symposium (topics which do not fulfill this criteria will be excluded).
• The Abstracts should be written in English and submitted exclusively via the online form which will be available soon. Abstracts sent via fax or any other method will not be accepted.
• The abstracts may not exceed 250 words.
• The Author/s of accepted abstracts must register for the Congress. The registration must been done through the Technical Secretariat before 30 September 2016. If they do not register, then their abstract will not be included in the Abstract Book and a date and time will not be assigned either.
• Maximum number of authors: 6
• Abstracts must be sent by the deadline. Any Abstracts which are sent after the deadline will not be accepted for evaluation.
• By sending an abstract, the author/s give/s permission for their abstract to be published in the Congress Abstract Book and on the webpage.
• The Scientific Committee will decide whether the abstract is accepted.
• The author/s acknowledges/s that all of the co-authors are aware of the content of that abstract before it is submitted to the Technical Secretariat.
• The authors will be informed via email before 15 September as to whether the abstract has been accepted or rejected.
• Abstracts which include in the title or text the name of the authors or its affiliations will NOT be accepted, as the people reviewing the abstracts carry out an ANONOMOUS Evaluation. The details of the author and the affiliation must be included in the final abstract once this abstract has been approved.
• Once the abstract has been submitted via the online form, you should receive a formal confirmation via email, including an abstract number and details of the abstract.
