Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Abstracts

This is a section which has been designated for the submission of abstracts in poster format based on the main Symposium topics, Orthognathic surgery and Reconstruction of maxillofacial territory.

• The abstract must be structured as follows: Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results and Conclusions. Maximum - 250 words.
• The Abstracts must be original and they shouldn´t be presented or have been presented in previous symposiums/congresses. They must be related to the main topic of the symposium (topics which do not fulfill this criteria will be excluded).
• Abstracts must be written in Spanish, English and/or Portuguese and sent exclusively via the available online form in this webpage. Abstracts sent via fax or any other means will not be accepted.
• The Author/s of accepted abstracts must register for the congress. The registration must been done through the Technical Secretariat before 30 September 2016. If they do not register, then their abstract will not be included in the Abstract Book and a date and time to present their abstract will not be assigned either.
• Abstracts must be sent by the deadline. Any abstracts which are sent after the deadline will not be accepted for evaluation.
• By sending an abstract, the author/s give/s permission for their abstract to be published in the Congress Abstract Book.
• The Scientific Committee will decide whether the abstract is accepted or not.
• The author/s acknowledge/s that all of the co-author/s is/are aware of the content of the abstract before it is submitted to the Technical Secretariat.
• The author/s will be informed via email as to whether or not the abstract has been accepted or rejected.
• Abstracts which include in the title or text the name of the authors or its affiliations will NOT be accepted.
• Once an abstract has been sent via the online form, you should receive a formal email confirmation, including an abstract number and the details of your abstract. If you require more information regarding the submission of abstracts, then please contact the Technical Secretariat via email.
