Dear Protein Scientist
As the President of the Protein Society, I would like to invite you to attend the 29th Annual Symposium of The Protein Society. A unique, 3.5 day forum focusing on all aspects of protein science, the meeting will take place in Barcelona, Spain, July 22-25, 2015. With an outstanding program developed by the 2015 Program Planning Committee, the meeting will be the can’t-miss event for scientists seeking to stay on top of the latest advances and developments. The meeting features prestigious speakers, low-cost registration and rooming options, numerous workshops for educators and students alike, and provides networking opportunities that are the wellsprings of future collaborations. The recipients of the 2015 Protein Society Awards will be honored and deliver talks on their seminal research, and up-and-coming leaders will have an opportunity to present their exciting work via Young Investigator Talks in every session. And all this will be set against the gorgeous backdrop of Barcelona, Spain, with all the wonderful architecture and culture for which the city is known.
If you have never attended a Protein Society Symposium but your research interests involve proteins, I encourage you to give it a chance. Find out just what makes the Symposium unique. The excitement of sharing groundbreaking, inter-disciplinary science with colleagues who share your passion; the presentation of new results from leading labs around the world; the unmatched accessibility of speakers and Society leaders to students and junior investigators –these characteristics help to make the Protein Society Symposium distinct.
I hope you will be able to make it, and look forward to meeting many of you in Barcelona!
