Dr. Luis Vega is Associate Professor and OMS Residency Program Director at the
Vanderbilt University. He joined the faculty in 2013 after spending 7 years as Assistant Professor at the University of Florida at Jacksonville. Dr. Vega received his DDS degree from the University of Costa Rica and his OMS certificate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Vega’s clinical practice covers the full scope of the oral and maxillofacial surgery. His commitment to education has taken him to share his experiences lecturing at national and international levels especially in the area of TMJ, orthognathic, sleep apnea surgery, as well as endoscopy in oral and maxillofacial surgery and zygomatic implants.
