Prof. Carlo Ratto is Professor of Surgery at the Catholic University of Rome, Italy. He received his medical degree from and completed his Residency in General Surgery at the same Institution. Prof. Ratto is the Responsible of the Proctology Unit at the University Hospital “Agostino Gemelli” in Rome, Italy. He is one of the leading research experts in the Coloproctology, first author of numerous scientific articles published on prestigious Journals, Editor of the book entitled “Fecal Incontinence: diagnosis and treatment” (Springer Verlag, 2007), referee of several Journals specialized in Coloproctology.
